It's so nice to meet you...

Welcome to my place. I live down south of that little island at the bottom of the world, Australia. Keep going south, and you'll find Tasmania, and that's where you'll find me. It's cold here, and that's the way we like it.

Ang and I have been married 20 years, and have three kids. You'll find me bike riding, cross stitching, writing and creating, and camping. We just came back from a month long trip (10,000 kilometres) across Australia in the caravan and we didn't want to come back. This is despite having a car stolen, loosing a caravan roof, and being stuck in tin can for 28 days.

 

I've worked with kids for the past 31 years. I'm a teacher and tutor, and my kids love telling me old I am :) But I love what I do, and it seems my students have a pretty good time as well. 

 

I love writing the real and the absurd, books that have a crazy sense of humour, with a kick in the tail that leave readers breathless. I love Paul Jennings, Morris Gleitzman,  Roald Dahl, Matthew Reilly, Tom Clancy, Shel Silverstein and so many more authors.
